What is Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI)?

Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is a non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic tool that uses a highly sensitive infrared camera to detect subtle temperature variations on the surface of your skin. These temperature differences can reflect physiological changes occurring beneath the skin’s surface, potentially indicating areas of inflammation, altered blood flow, or nerve dysfunction.

How does it work?

Our bodies naturally emit heat. DITI captures this heat and translates it into a visual map, or thermogram, using different colours to represent varying temperatures. A full medical history is taken to contextualise the results. The scan is conducted in a private, ambient temperature-controlled room to ensure accurate readings.

What are the benefits of DITI?

Non-invasive and Radiation-Free: DITI uses no radiation, making it a safe and comfortable procedure for all ages.
Early Detection: It can detect subtle physiological changes that may precede structural changes, potentially aiding in early detection.
Painless and Comfortable: The procedure involves no contact with the body.
Comprehensive Assessment: DITI can provide a comprehensive overview of physiological function.
Personalised Insights: The detailed report with images and recommendations gives you valuable insights into your health.
What types of scans do we offer?

We offer three distinct scan types to cater to your specific needs:

Breast Screening: This scan focuses on the breast area, providing valuable information about potential physiological changes.
Women’s/Men’s Health Scan: This scan provides a more comprehensive assessment of overall health, focusing on areas relevant to women’s or men’s specific health concerns.
Full Body Scan: This scan provides a complete overview of your body’s thermal patterns, offering a comprehensive assessment of your overall physiological health.
What to expect during your appointment:

Medical History: A thorough medical history will be taken to understand your health concerns and provide context for the scan results.
Preparation: You will be asked to remove any jewelry or clothing from the area being scanned. You will be given time to acclimatise to the room temperature.
Scanning: The infrared camera will capture images of your body from various angles. The procedure is painless and takes approximately [Insert timeframe here, e.g., 15-60 minutes depending on scan type].
Report and Recommendations: You will receive a detailed report with thermographic images and recommendations based on the findings.
